Death At Work: Improving support for families

Thousands of family members become survivors of a sudden work-related death each year but little is known of how the death and the responses of government and other organisations affect them.

The ‘Workplace Death: Improving Support for Families’ study is investigating the consequences of workplace death for surviving families. It also considers how well official responses, such as workers’ compensation and the provision of information and support, meet families’ needs.

If your loved one died as a result of a sudden work-related injury the Faculty of Health Sciences at Sydney University would like to invite you to participate in this world-first Australian Research Council-funded study.
